Sharing my joy of playing has always been a big part of my musical life, and I’ve been teaching on and off for the past 15 years.

I began my musical journey at the age of three and went on to obtain a Master’s in Performance many years later. From the moment I left school, I started teaching violin and viola in Perth, Australia — and at the height of my teaching career, I worked with over 50 students each week.

I’ve taught students of all ages and abilities, from beginners picking up their first instrument to advanced players refining their technique. My teaching combines classical technique, ABRSM, Suzuki, essential theory, and my own creative methods developed through years of study and performance.

Learning an instrument is like learning any other art form — at its core, it’s a way to express yourself. Whether a student dreams of playing with others, writing their own music, or simply playing for joy, I tailor each lesson to their goals, helping them build confidence in both their instrument and their creative voice. Above all, my aim is to make learning violin or viola inspiring, rewarding, and fun.
